About Roosevelt University

I want to welcome you to the Roosevelt University web pages and invite you to learn more about us. Whether you are a prospective or continuing student, a faculty or staff member, or just curious about the University, you will discover a lot about Roosevelt, its programs and people, from these pages. You may even be persuaded to become part of the Roosevelt University community.

My own decision to join Roosevelt was actually quite easy. Although I have been in higher education as a student, faculty member and administrator for 40 years, I have never encountered a community of people who are as uniformly dedicated to an institution and its welfare as those I have met at Roosevelt.

The programs and services at Roosevelt University emphasize student success and academic quality. Our goal is to recruit talented students and then provide them with the tools they need to graduate and become productive citizens.

You will find that our faculty members are accessible to students and are universally recognized for being outstanding teachers. They also write scholarly books and articles, conduct important research and perform in the world’s great concert halls.

Roosevelt is a university on the move, a university that is capturing the imagination of the people in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. I encourage you to know us better by exploring these web pages.
