Advisory Council Sub-committees

Wellbeing Advisory Council members are expected to commit to a 1-year term (June 1, 2014 through April 30, 2015) on a committee of their choice. Each sub-committee will consist of a Committee Lead who will provide progress reports to the Council Chair and/or Co-Chair.

All members are responsible for participating in the planning, preparation and implementation of special events. Wellbeing Champions are expected to collaborate with and provide support to these committees and their initiative(s) as needed.


Determine educational and event priorities. Responsible for developing a list of program initiatives including but not limited to development of program evaluations, questionnaires and recommendations. Partners with Student Services and other departments to offer collaborative programs for employees and students. Work with Education and Communications committee to develop targeted communications, and event promotion flyers, brochures and/or other marketing collateral.

Education & Communication

Identify what information we will share with our audience (healthcare newsletters, reference websites, and other materials from our benefits vendors). Determine how to communicate and what vehicles (RU Broadcast, Podcasts, Social Media etc.) to use to reach our audience. Prepares communication pieces to be shared with the council prior to distribution to the Roosevelt community.
