More in the this section...
Many of Roosevelt's first students in 1945 were World War II veterans barred from enrolling at other schools due to racial, gender and religious bias. That commitment to inclusion, regardless of background, is at the core of our mission today. Ranked one of the top military-friendly schools in the nation (G.I. Jobs Magazine), we welcome and embrace all students with the drive to succeed.

“Roosevelt is a great place for veterans to see that there are more ways to give back to your country besides going overseas, and they’re right here in the city of Chicago. It’s also a great way for people who’ve never been in the military to see that veterans are just as caring and motivated as anyone else.” Horacio Aguilera U.S. Army veteran and political science major
