Step-by-Step Guide to Completing Your Enrollment at Roosevelt
Step 1: Accept Admission & Pay Deposit
Your first step is to accept your admission by paying the $200 admission deposit. The $200 deposit will be applied toward tuition costs for the first semester enrolled. Click here for more information about the admission deposit. You must pay your deposit before attending SOAR and registering for classes.
Step 2: Confirm English & Math Placement
If you are required to take the Roosevelt University Assessment (RUA), you must complete the assessment before attending SOAR.
- Transfer students who bring in appropriate English and math courses for their degree may be exempt from one or both portions of the RUA. To be considered for a waiver from the RUA requirement, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- New freshmen are required to submit their ACT scores for evaluation of placement for English and math. Students will be encouraged to take the RUA if they would like the opportunity to place into higher level English and math courses, but are required to take the RUA before registering for classes if their ACT or SAT scores are more than two years old.
Step 3: Attend SOAR & Register for Classes
After paying your admission deposit, sign up to attend SOAR: Starting Out at Roosevelt. You will meet with an academic advisor to schedule your classes, as well as talk with a financial aid counselor and a student accounts representative to ensure your financial arrangements are in place for your first semester.
