How to add an authorized user to Bill and Payment System

Did you know you can give another person permission to view your online e-bill and payment information?

Add a parent, guardian, spouse, etc as an authorized user so they can keep track of your tuition charges, make payments, and get email alerts when new e-bills are available.

Instructions for Students:

  • Log in to RUAccess
  • Enter User ID: Roosevelt Student ID Number
  • Enter PIN #: Enter your 6 digit pin (1st time users enter your 6 digit birth date(mmddyy) – then follow additional directions to create a new pin)
  • Select Registration and Other Student Services
  • Select Statement and Payment History
  • Select Connect to Bill + Payment System
  • Select Authorized Users (in grey at the top of the page) in new browser screen
  • Select Add an Authorized User
  • Enter the e-mail address of the preferred authorized user
  • Select your preferences of access for the authorized user
  • Select Add user
  • Select I Agree
  • An e-mail will be sent to the authorized personnel from the sender “NoReply”

Instructions for Authorized User:

  • Select log-in link provided in e-mail
  • Under the Authorized Users Box enter the appropriate e-mail address
  • Select e-mail password - A temporary password will be e-mail to your account
  • Copy & paste temporary Password into the Authorized User box
  • Select log-in now
  • Enter in appropriate information
  • Create and enter new password
  • Select Continue
  • Confirmation page will appear
  • Bookmark the log-in link from e-mail for future access
