Housing Policy Requirement

On-Campus Housing Requirement at Roosevelt University

It is important that all students know and understand that Roosevelt University has an on-campus housing requirement.  This two-year residency requirement exists because we understand the connection between living on campus and the success of our students.   The requirement specifically indicates all new first-year, full-time students enrolled at the Chicago Campus of Roosevelt University are required to live in University housing for their first two years. This policy applies to students who:

  • have earned fewer than 30 semester hours of transferable college credit.
  • are under the age of 21 on the first day of the initial term of enrollment.
  • *Students in the Chicago College of Performing Arts and are under the age of 21 must reside on campus regardless of credit hour accumulation.

The On-Campus Housing Living Requirement policy applies to students in the following Colleges:

College of Arts and Sciences

Evelyn T. Stone University College of Professional Studies

College of Education

Walter E. Heller College of Business

*Chicago College of Performing Arts
