Whether you are moving into the Wabash Building or University Center, we want to make your move in as easy as possible. Move in can be a stressful time for students and families but with your help it can be a relatively easy and even fun time!
Step 1: Check your Roosevelt email for your Fall 2013 move in date and time. Move in emails will be sent in late summer. Transfer students will move in August 16 so they can attend orientation on August 17. New freshmen will move in August 17 and 18 so they can attend orientation on August 19-21. Continuing students will move in on August 21st.
Step 2: Know what to bring.
Step 3: Purchase sheets through our linen program. Everything purchased (sheets, comforter, and mattress pads) are guaranteed to fit and guaranteed to last until graduation. Go to Linen Program to purchase items.
Step 4: Order your MicroFridge for 2012-13..
Step 5: Loft kits are available for $100 at the Wabash Building. To get a loft kit in the Wabash Building please sign up through this link. Loft kits are also available at UC. If interested, please check in with the UC Management Office.
Step 7: Know where to park and how not to get towed. There are a number of parking garages around the area of both residence halls. It is essential that someone stays with the car at all times so that the car will not be ticketed or towed.
Step 8: Purchase personal property insurance through NSSI
Step 9: Are you living in the Roosevelt University's Wabash Building this Fall? If so, you may be interested in becoming a Move-In Assistant (MIA). Perks include moving-in early, T-shirts, helping start the community right from the first day, and many more. Please submit this application by July 15th.
