Collaboration Resources for both Roosevelt Employees and Visiting Researchers
It is prudent to discuss with the TTO all working relationships, both internal and external to the University, to understand the implications for any subsequent Intellectual Property.
If using materials from others in your research, it is important to document carefully the date and conditions of use so that we can determine if this use may influence the ownership and license rights. The same is true if you are sharing materials with others to further their research. An incoming or outgoing Material Transfer Agreement should be completed to obtain materials from outside collaborators or to transfer research materials to others.
Inter-institutional and/or Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements may also be required for such collaborative arrangements.
Please contact the TTO firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on the documentation required for these types of arrangements.
