Bronze "R" Society
The Bronze “R” Society Award is awarded to students from registered student organizations who have contributed to co-curricular life at Roosevelt University through their participation in their respective student organization. This year’s Bronze “R’ award winners, Mimi Nguyen from VSA, and Meredith Imler from APA-ASP!
Event of the Year Award
Event of the Year is awarded to the student organization whose event helped to improve and enrich campus life at the Schaumburg campus. The event of the year has impacted the campus and the community, was creative, had a lot of student, staff, faculty, and community participation, and was fun for all that planned and participated in the event. This year’s event of the year, the St. Baldrick’s Shave Off from the Student Society of Health System Pharmacy.
Faculty Advisor Award
The outstanding faculty advisor award will be presented to an advisor who has contributed significant time, energy, and resources outside of their jobs at the University to a registered student organization. This this year’s advisor of the year award, from SSHP, Dr. Fatima Ali
Student Organization of the Year
This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the Roosevelt University community by a registered, active student organization. Nominated organizations have been registered and active for at least two consecutive semesters and have collaborated with other organizations, academic departments, or offices throughout the academic year. This award also comes with a $500 professional development stipend to be used for its members to bring in a speaker, or attend a leadership conference. This year’s student organization of the year award to the Student Society of Health System Pharmacy!
Student Leader of the Year Award
This award is the highest honor given to a student leader at Roosevelt University. Through their leadership skills and initiative, nominees have made a significant impact on the Roosevelt community throughout the past academic year. Nominees will have influenced the development and mentoring of future leaders of Roosevelt. They have demonstrated examples of outstanding service to others and within the community, involvement and leadership in co-curricular activities on and off campus, and an overall impact on campus life and learning for students.
