Transfer Admission from an Accredited Pharmacy Program
The Roosevelt University College of Pharmacy does not routinely accept transfer students. A request to transfer may be considered under extenuating circumstances and depending on availability. Consideration will only be given to students who are currently in good standing at an ACPE-accredited College or School of Pharmacy. Students who have been placed on Probation for any reason, temporarily or permanently suspended, required to repeat courses, or involved in any adverse action as a result of code of conduct violations or academic dishonesty are not eligible.
To initiate a request to transfer, students must:
1. Submit a letter detailing the reason for the transfer, and an official transcript of all College/School of Pharmacy coursework to the Assistant Dean for Enrollment and Student Services.
2, Request the Dean or designated officer send a letter to the Assistant Dean for Enrollment and Student Services stating that the student is in good standing and has never been on Probation, suspended, required to repeat courses or had any action taken as a result of code of conduct violations or academic dishnonesty.
A formal interview with the Admission Committee may be required before a final desicion on the transfer application is reached. The committee will determine whether to accept the applicant and grant, if appropriate, credit for courses successfully completed at the previous school or college that meet Roosevelt University's curricular requirements.
A minimum of seven academic terms must be completed at the Roosevelt University College of Pharmacy for a transfer student to be eligible to receive the PharmD degree.
Transfer applications are only considered for a fall term start.
