Heller College of Business receives 10-year accreditation
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) has reaffirmed accreditation of Roosevelt University’s Walter E. Heller College of Business for another 10 years, the organization announced on Dec. 13.
“Roosevelt University has shown its commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Director of Accreditation Steve Parscale, who will present the Certificate of Reaffirmation of Accreditation at the ACBSP Annual Conference in Chicago on June 29.
“This accreditation is evidence that Roosevelt University is committed to providing the highest quality business education for its students for the next 10 years, just has it has done for the last 10 years,” Parscale added.
Terri Friel, dean of the Heller College of Business, said the reaccreditation is a tribute to college’s outstanding faculty and staff. “They work closely with our students every day to ensure that all Roosevelt business graduates are prepared for success in today’s complex corporate global environment,” she said. “I have the great pleasure of being associated with dedicated professors who are continually striving to find innovative ways to improve student learning and achievement.”
ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. By its reaccreditation, ACBSP certifies that the teaching and learning process in the Heller College of Business meets the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.
