Roosevelt professor wins Illinois Principals Association award

Posted: 11/05/2012
Roger Chamberlain, assistant professor of Educational Leadership in the College of Education at Roosevelt University’s Schaumburg Campus, is the recipient of the 2012 Herman Graves Award from the Illinois Principals Association (IPA).
The Herman Graves Award was established in 1991 to recognize outstanding service to IPA.  Herman Graves was the first honoree and the award was established because of the intrinsic contributions he made to the association and his enthusiasm for the profession.  Winners were chosen from 21 regional areas which form the framework of the IPA.  From these elite administrators, Chamberlain was chosen by a committee comprised of IPA past presidents.

Chamberlain was recognized at a special ceremony on Oct. 22, 2012 during the Illinois Principals Association Fall Professional Conference held in Peoria. The Illinois Principals Association serves over 4,400 educational leaders statewide and exists to advance learning through effective educational leadership.
