Forum on Politics and Media: How Campaigns are Covered at the Schaumburg Campus on Oct. 17

A forum on Politics and the Media in which a panel of experts will analyze and discuss media coverage of politics, elections and campaigns will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 at the University’s Schaumburg Campus, 1400 N. Roosevelt Boulevard, Schaumburg.

On the heels of the second Presidential debate and just three weeks before the Nov. 6 election, the panel will address a wide range of timely topics regarding politics and the media. Panelists include: Kerry Lester, political editor for the Daily Herald; Jim Slusher, assistant managing editor/opinion page for the Daily Herald; Madeleine Doubek, chief operating officer for Reboot Illinois; and Charles Madigan, presidential writer in residence and journalism professor at Roosevelt University. Paul Green, director of Roosevelt’s Institute for Politics, director of the University’s Department of Political Science and Public Administration and the Arthur Rubloff Professor of Policy Studies, will moderate the discussion.
