Business Sustainability Events at Roosevelt University on Sept. 7, 8, and 9

September 7, 8, and 9 Roosevelt University’s Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration , RU Net Impact and Delta Mu Delta are honored to sponsor a series of programs featuring leaders in the field of Business Sustainability.
Author and entrepreneur Wayne Visser, who has published eight books about sustainability and the role of business in society and is a leading international expert on the topic, will be the featured speaker. Visser is making Roosevelt University his first stop in the United States during his world-wide speaking tour on sustainability.
Tuesday, September 7, Visser will kick off the events discussing “Sustainability: Beyond Shareholder Capitalism”. Tuesday afternoon continues with a panel discussion featuring Wayne Visser; David Oser, Executive Vice President, Shore Bank; Raed Elaydi, WEHCBA Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship; and Woodrow Clark, co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. On Wednesday, September 8, Woodrow Clark will lead a workshop on Sustainable Development and Wayne Visser will be the luncheon speaker at Roosevelt’s Schaumburg campus. Free*
Thursday, September 9, will be a reception followed by a lecture on “Sustainability: How the World is Changing” at Roosevelt’s Gage Building. $15, please see note below*
