Library Research Instruction Request - Chicago

Special Notice for Fall 2015
Priority given to requests received by September 1, 2015

We recognize the need for information literacy across the curriculum though this fall we may not be able to accommodate all requests due to temporary staffing levels. We are committed to providing library instruction to all composition courses in an effort to create a foundation in metaliteracy skills for our undergraduates. Priority for Information literacy instruction requests beyond composition courses will be given to requests received before September 1st, 2015 and based on our availability. You are welcome to contact Martinique Hallerduff to discuss alternative methods of introducing information literacy and research skills to your students or to address any questions or concerns.

  • Faculty, please make your request two weeks in advance.
  • After submitting your request, you will be contacted by a librarian who will work with you on scheduling and developing class content.
  • We expect faculty will attend these classes with students; please keep this in mind when choosing a date.
