Welcome from the University Librarian

The Roosevelt University Libraries provide an array of print-based and electronic resources, a dedicated staff of professional librarians, and comprehensive research and instruction services to enrich the teaching and learning environment of the University.

The Libraries partner with faculty and students in developing a socially engaged community, complementing the social justice work of all members of the Roosevelt University community with scholarly, comprehensive and authoritative resources.

The Libraries promote scholarly communication and discourse that respects, celebrates and engages diverse viewpoints arising from very different life experiences and intellectual backgrounds.  We promote civic engagement with the conviction that social justice can be achieved and that well informed critical thinking is essential to that end.

We at the Roosevelt University Libraries welcome your thoughts, ideas and recommendations on how we are doing and how we can improve in these endeavors. Please visit our website for your research and information needs and seek us out if you want assistance in how best to develop your research. We all enjoy the whole process of researching for an engaged community.
