You must have a valid passport at all times.

You must attend the university listed on your form DS-2019.

You must be enrolled full-time enrollment during the fall and spring semester. You are not required to be registered during the summer semester.
Undergraduate students need to take at least 12 credit hours per semester
Graduate students need to take at least 9 credit hours per semester

If you want to work on-campus, you must obtain On-Campus Work Authorization at the beginning of every semester and vacation period.

You may work no more than 17 hours per week on-campus (per Roosevelt’s union contract).

You must apply for Academic Training from International Programs to work off-campus. If you fail to get work authorization in before you begin employment, you will be in violation of your F-1 status.

If you will not finish your degree before the completion date on your DS-201, you must contact International Programs.

You must report all changes to your name or address to International Programs within 10 days!

If you plan to travel outside the U.S., bring your DS-2019 to International Programs and request a travel signature at least two weeks before you plan to leave.

If, for any reason, you think you need to be registered part-time, you must speak to the International Advisor. You must request authorization to drop below full-time enrollment from International Programs BEFORE you drop any classes.
