Advising services and important immigration information for international students can be found on the following pages.  Please read all information carefully before consulting an advisor.  If you do not see the answer to your question, please contact International Programs at 312-341-3531 or international@roosevelt.edu

If you wish to request a letter from International Programs to verify your current immigration status, apply for a Social Security Number or for other reasons, please request the form here.  All letter requests take 2-3 business days.

All F-1 and J-1 students (and their F-2 or J-2 spouses) are required to file income taxes for every year they are present in the U.S.  This is required even if you did not work in the U.S. Please visit the IRS homepage for more details.  In February or March an Income Tax Workshop will be held to help you with this process

Please visit the Illinois Secretary of State's homepage for more information on how to apply.
