WHAT IS THIS?

iTunes U is a service sponsored by Apple Computer providing tools for distributing multimedia files over the Internet using Apple’s iTunes multimedia client.  Instructors can use this service to distribute audio and video clips containing course content, recorded lectures, and related instructional materials.  The service is particularly well adapted to support podcasting applications.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This service is available to Roosevelt instructors who need a convenient and reliable way to distribute audio or video files to a group of students.  Administrative users may also use this service.

HOW DO I GET IT?

iTunes U accounts are available by request from the Academic Technology office.  Requests for information and accounts can be submitted through the Help Desk at 312.341.4357.
