Video Conferencing

WHAT IS THIS?

Video conferencing allows two or more locations to collaborate via two-way video and audio connections. Video conferencing facilities serve group communications, rather than just individuals. The Academic Technology Solutions Office maintains six video conferencing facilities (three at the Schaumburg campus and one each in the Auditorium, Gage, and Wabash buildings) to provide support for instruction or administrative meetings, with options for connections to off-site locations.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The Roosevelt video conferencing rooms are open to faculty, staff, students, and authorized outside groups.  Instructional use takes priority over all other uses.  Student and outside group reservations must be made by a faculty or staff sponsor.

HOW DO I GET IT?

All requests for video conference rooms are now scheduled through 25Live.

Requests for video conferences, administrative meetings, single session classes etc., will be considered on the basis of scheduling priorities and available time and resources. Please visit the video conference procedures page for more information.

Requests should be submitted via 25 Live at least 7 business days prior to the date of the video conference. Video conference classes are scheduled by the registrar's office and do NOT need to be requested separately.  Approvals are completed one semester at a time after classes are scheduled.

Please visit the Room Reservation Request page for more information about 25 Live.

All approved requests will appear on the Video conferencing Calendar
