Stephen Squires, Conductor and Catalina Cuervo, soprano

Stephen Squires leads the CCPA Percussion Ensemble with Colombian guest artist, and CCPA alumna, Catalina Cuervo, in a program that includes:

  • Enrique Granados Canciones Amatorias
  • Manuel de Falla Siete Canciones Populares Españolas
  • Amadeo Roldán Rítmicas Nos. 5 and 6
  • Elbio Barilari Los Cantos for soprano, winds, and percussion
  • Carlos Chávez Xochipilli, an Imagined Aztec Music, for percussion and winds
With guest artists: Alyce Johnson, piccolo; Jessica Warren-Acosta, flute; 
Gene Collerd, clarinet; Andrew Baker, trombone; Shannon McGuinnis, piano; Adam Levin, guitar
