The MFA Program in Creative Writing opens its Winter/Spring Reading Series with a reading by Roxane Gay. Gay’s writing has appeared in Best American Short Stories 2012, Best Sex Writing 2012, New Stories from the Midwest 2011, and many others. She is the author of Ayiti, a collection of writing about the Haitian diaspora experience and is the co-editor of PANK. Her novel, An Untamed State, will be published by Grove Atlantic and her essay collection, Bad Feminist, will be published by Harper Perennial, both in 2014. Free and open to the public.
