Brazilian Film Festival: "Olga"

The Brazilian Film Festival "Mostra III" comes to Roosevelt this weekend with two films with social justice themes. On Sunday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m. see "Olga," a docu-drama based on the true story of a Brazilian communist who ends up in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany, where she gives birth to the son of a Brazilian revolutionary. Both films are free and will be shown in the WB612.

The showings are co-sponsored by the Mansfield Institute for Social Justice and the Evelyn T. Stone College of Professional Studies in conjunction with the Partners of the Americas, Illinois Chapter.
