The Joseph Loundy Human Rights Project and the Department of Psychology are sponsoring a lecture with Robert Warden, the executive director of Northwestern University’s Center on Wrongful Convictions and an award-winning legal affairs journalist. Warden has exposed more than a score of wrongful convictions in Illinois and was one of the people most responsible for ending the death penalty in Illinois. Most recently, he has worked to pass legislation requiring videotaping of interviews in major felony cases. Free and open to the public.
