The MFA Program in Creative Writing is hosting a conversation with Billy Lombardo. In his talk, Beginnings: Germs, Openings, and Discoveries, Lombardo will discuss the Three Beginnings of Fiction and share the best piece of advice no one ever told him. Bily is the Co-Founder/Managing Editor of Polyphony H.S., an international literary magazine for high school writers and editors. His books include How to Hold a Woman, The Man with Two Arms, and The Logic of a Rose. He is the 2011 Nelson Algren Award winner for the Short Story. Free and open to the public.
