What Are New Deal Service Days?

Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9, 2011

This annual community service event offers Roosevelt University students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends the opportunity to work together for a day helping those in need at sites in Chicago and the Northwest suburbs. 

This year, the event will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9 in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs and on Saturday, April 9 in Chicago.  We invite you to take a look at our site descriptions, choose a preferred date* and work location and register just yourself or your entire team.

Friday sites are for students and friends, and are not for University employees. Saturday sites are open to all.

Waiver for volunteers

All volunteers, or the parent or guardian of a volunteer under  the age of 18, must sign a waiver [PDF]. This form will be available at check in, but you can download and fill it in beforehand if you prefer.
