Located on the fifth floor of the Wabash building, this brand-new, state-of-the-art fitness facility features cardio equipment, weights, circuit machines, stability balls, jump ropes and a fitness studio. It is open for use to all Roosevelt students, faculty, and staff free of charge during the designated facility hours.

Roosevelt University offers many types of sports for everyone. From fitness classes like Yoga, Zumba, Piloxing and Boot Camps, to intramural sports that include flag football, volleyball, sand volleyball, basketball and dodgeball. There's something for everyone, so get moving!

    Do you like to bike, run or walk? Then you should take part in the 2013 Barry Crown Fitness Center Fitness Challenge. The competition, open to Roosevelt students, faculty and staff, starts today and ends March 15. Sign-up sheets and mileage charts are located in the Fitness Center at the student worker desk.

    More than two years after re-establishing its athletic program, Roosevelt University finally has a facility to call home.

    The school officially opened the Lillian and Larry Goodman Center on Saturday at the corner of Wabash Avenue and Congress Parkway. It's a 28,000-square-foot building that will host men's and women's basketball, volleyball and, eventually, various undergraduate intramural sports.

    Roosevelt Lakers women's basketball team takes the court at 1 p.m. and play by the Lakers men's basketball team begins at 3 p.m. in the new Lillian and Larry Goodman Center at 501 S. Wabash Ave.  Both teams play Trinity Christian College.
