Potential students for the M.A in Teaching and Learning are certified teachers who want to lead instructional and curricular improvement in K – 12 schools and classrooms. Teachers seeking bilingual/ESL, special education, reading teacher, middle school, and early childhood special education endorsements also should apply for admission to this program.
1. Official undergraduate and/or graduate transcripts. Undergraduate transcripts must document completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 2.7.
2. Evidence of teacher certification or licensure, earned prior to the start of the program.
3. A statement of interest (up to 350 words) explaining how this RU graduate program supports the applicant's educational objectives, desires for professional development, and career goals.
