Whether you are currently working in the field or plan to in the future, the M.A. in Training and Development will develop your expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, training delivery, organization development, evaluation, and e-learning. Classes, which are mapped to Assocaition for Talent Development (formerly ASTD) competencies, are taught by industry leaders who use analytical and creative approaches in a highly energizing, constructivist format. You are assured of receiving relevant curriculum that transfers immediately to the workplace.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited institution with an undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. A written statement of academic and professional goals and a current resume are required.
A total of 12 courses (36 credit hours) are required to complete the degree.
In addition to 11 courses, students are required to complete a master's portfolio. The master's portfolio allows students to demonstrate their competency through reflection and assessment of previously completed projects and provides enhanced materials for professional presentation.
