ELED 327 - TEACH SOCIAL STUDIES ELEM SCHL

Analysis of social studies programs in K-9 elementary schools. Objectives, traditional and computer assisted methods, materials, organizational structure, and evaluation. Basic social sciences concepts, contributions of educational, multicultural, and urban studies research. Students use community resources and problem solving approaches to construct teaching-learning materials. Emphasis on individualizing instruction to meet needs of all children.
