Physical forces, biodiversity, organismal function, and ecological interactions that form marine environments. The principles of cell biology, organismic physiology, biomechanics, and ecology applied to marine biological problems.

  • BIOL 201  (with a min grade of C-)
  •   OR   BIOL 112  (with a min grade of B)
  •   OR   BIOL 202  (with a min grade of C-)

BIOL 323, Tropical Biology, can be taken as a lab for this  course. One prior college science course with a min grade  of C required.
