E-Learning, Graduate Credential

E-learning is a rapidly growing segment within workplace learning and performance that continues to grow as technology advances. It has dramatically changed learning environment and has become a core knowledge area.

The required courses of this graduate credential provide you with the foundational knowledge and skills to participate effectively in the design, development and implementation of e-learning programs. Courses are mapped to Association for Talent Development (ATD, formerly ASTD) competencies to ensure that this highly relevant curriculum transfers immediately to the workplace.

Classes are taught by a dedicated group of full-time professors and industry leaders who use analytical and creative approaches in a highly energizing, constructivist format. Five courses are combined to create this comprehensive program.

Admission

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited institution with an undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. A written statement of academic and professional goals and a current resume are required. For additional information, contact the Graduate Program in Training and Development.

Requirements

Five courses (15 credit hours) are required.

The credential in E-Learning is ideal for both those who are currently working in the field who would benefit from a formal education and those who plan to enter the field. The program consists of four required courses and one elective.
