PSYC 654 CHILD & ADOLESCENT THERAPY
Didactic foundation to individually oriented child and adolescent psychotherapy. Challenges involved in working with school-age children and adolescents. Review of developmental psychopathology and assessment strategies. Emphasis on learning a range of treatment techniques (e.g., play therapy, skills training, parent training, behavioral interventions). Prereq: MA Ccompetency or admission to PsyD program; Psyc 520 with minimum grade of B.
