Roosevelt University

The Loop

A much higher education.

Roosevelt University’s historic downtown Chicago Campus is located in the historical center of the city, which plays an essential role in each student’s education. With hundreds of renowned cultural centers, tourist attractions, sightseeing opportunities, world-famous events and festivals, eateries, museums, recreational outlets and educational resources, our students continue soaking up knowledge and experience, even when they need a break from the books.

Often referred to as the “South Loop Education Corridor,” Roosevelt is situated among the nation's largest concentration of college students. This prime location places it among more than half a dozen other colleges and universities in the same area, unleashing a vibrant population of scholars into the heart of the downtown Chicago. Students enjoy a rich cultural atmosphere with a seemingly endless list of possibilities for discovery, not to mention discounts from area businesses to make it all more accessible. The South Loop’s educational network shares a community atmosphere, as well as residential student housing facilities in two locations, city libraries, cultural centers and other learning resources throughout the downtown area. This singular college experience fosters friendship, knowledge, and academic success.
