Welcome to a brand new dining experience at Roosevelt University. We are dedicated to bringing you the finest food and service.
Great food is what we do, but we are passionate about sustainability and social justice as well. Our kitchen features state of the art energy- and resource-saving features. Packaging is fully compostable and composted on University property. Locally grown, organic, cage-free, and real, tasty ingredients are staples of our pantry. The RU Metropolis Coffee Shop features Roosevelt's own blend of fair trade and organic beans roasted right here in Chicago. It also features baked goods from Blue Sky Bakery, a local bakery with a social justice mission.

RU employees may participate in the cashless purchasing system for food service similar to what the RU resident students enjoy. This same benefit is available to everyone with a new Roosevelt University ID. An additional benefit is that you will receive a 10% discount on all food purchases. The card can be used at both the Dining Center in the Wabash Building and the Michigan Lobby Coffee Shop in the Auditorium Building.
See a manager or supervisor in the Dining Center (2nd floor Wabash) and fill out a simple form. You will need your Roosevelt ID and payment by cash, check or credit card. There is a minimum buy in of $25.
Once you have used your initial balance you can add additional funds to your plan online. You will need a major credit card or debit card to use this convenient system, or you can continue to pay in cash directly to the Dining Center Manager. It is best to stop by between meal periods to avoid waiting.
