Go to all the Homecoming Week events, especially the dance. It's magical!
Best thing about being in Chicago:
Being in the HEART of Chicago's South Loop. BAM! There's always something to do and places to explore.

Favorite thing about Roosevelt: All of the student organizations. They put on some great events throughout the year; there's always something to do!
One thing every RU student should do before graduating: Every RU student should study abroad! Go and see the world! Roosevelt has so many options available at your fingertips.
Best thing about being in Chicago: The best thing about being in Chicago is all of the free stuff to do! More Cupcakes every Tuesday are delicious!

The diversity and welcoming atmosphere of the university, and being in the center of one of the greatest cities in the world.
One thing every RU student should do before graduating:
Every RU student should take an elevator ride with President Middleton at least once before graduating...it's a fantastic experience!
Best thing about being in Chicago:
Trying out all of the different restaurants and exploring new neighborhoods.

One thing every RU student should do before graduating:
Take every opportunity Roosevelt gives to you by joining a club or sport! Make the most out of the investment you're making in your college education.
Best thing about being in Chicago:
You are twenty minutes away from everything! This city is so full of life and opportunities, it's hard not to get inspired!

Check out a Mansfield Institute event/panel and find a way to get involved with an organization (RU or otherwise) that you care about.

Go to a CCPA performance! It's always fun to see the hard work the music and theater students are doing and we love seeing you guys there!

Being in a place where there are so many college students!

I think every RU student should get to know their professors before graduating; so many are truly interesting people!
Best thing about being in Chicago:
Exploring the city! All you have to do is pick up a newspaper and the next minute you could be at a poetry slam in Uptown or at a concert in Hyde Park.

The warm environment and friendly people. It's so easy to make friends and have a good time!

Explore all of the events the school has to offer, and take advantage of as much free food as possible!
Best thing about being in Chicago:
There's always something to do, all you have to do is explore.

Favorite thing about Roosevelt: The inclusiveness and diversity of Roosevelt. It's so easy to be yourself here, and you'll end up with a bunch of friends as long as you're honest and put yourself out there.
One thing every RU student should do before graduating: Study abroad! It will be so cheap compared to traveling after you graduate! Plus, join a student organization or just get one job on campus.
Best thing about being in Chicago: Too many! The pizza, the beaches, but mostly the people. Chicago is the only place where you can have a 20 minute conversation on the train with someone you just met!
