New Student Orientation and New Student Programs

RU new to Roosevelt? If so, you've come to the right place!  The Center for Student Involvement at the Chicago Campus is responsible for coordinating the university’s new student programs for new Chicago undergraduate students.  Programs include New Student Orientation, Transfer Student Orientation, Laker Days, Weeks of Welcome and the First Year Seminar (ACP 101) course. 

Fall 2015 Transfer and New Student Orientation - Chicago Campus

First-Year Orientation
  • Tuesday, August 18--Friday, August 21, 2015
  • This is a 4-day program required for all new incoming first-year students.
  • Exact times will become available in the coming months.
  • Orientation is for students only; please do not bring guests.
  • Please make sure you have registered for classes prior to attending orientation.

Transfer Orientation

  • Saturday, August 22, 2015
  • This is a 1-day program required for all new incoming transfer students.
  • Exact times will become available in the coming months.
  • Transfer students must sign up for orientation; sign up details will be available this summer.
  • Orientation is for students only; please do not bring guests.
  • Please make sure you have registered for classes prior to attending orientation.
