New Student Orientation and New Student Programs

RU new to Roosevelt? If so, you've come to the right place!  The Center for Student Involvement at the Chicago Campus is responsible for coordinating the university’s new student programs for new Chicago undergraduate students.  Programs include New Student Orientation, Transfer Student Orientation, Laker Days, Weeks of Welcome and the First Year Seminar (ACP 100) course. 

Fall 2014 Transfer and New Student Orientation - Chicago Campus

New Student Orientation for Fall 2014(for all new freshmen)

Tuesday, August 19-Friday, August 22
  • Check-in begins at 12:30pm and the program begins at 1:00pm
  • All four days of orientation are required for incoming freshmen.

Transfer Student Orientation for Fall 2014 (for students transferring with15 credits or more)

Saturday, August 23
  • Check-in begins at 9:30am, and the program runs from 10:00am to 5:00pm
  • This is a one-day program required for all transfer students.

Please make sure you've already attended Starting Out At Roosevelt (SOAR) and registered for classes prior to attending New Student Orientation!
