New Student Orientation and New Student Programs

RU new to Roosevelt? If so, you've come to the right place!  The Center for Student Involvement at the Chicago Campus is responsible for coordinating the university’s new student programs for new Chicago undergraduate students.  Programs include New Student Orientation, Transfer Student Orientation, Laker Days, Weeks of Welcome and the First Year Seminar (ACP 100) course. 

Become an Orientation Leader!

Are you interested in welcoming our new students, improving your leadership skills, and being a part of an amazing team? If so, the Orientation Leader position is for you! Only current Roosevelt students are eligible to apply, and you must be a full-time student in fall 2014. Applications for the 2014 Orientation Leader team are now available!

  • Applications due Friday, March 21 by 5:00pm in CSI (WB 323)
  • Interviews March 24-27 (times vary)
  • OL Decision e-mails sent: Wednesday, April 2

Transfer and New Student Orientation for Fall 2014 will be held in August. Details will become available in the coming months. We can't wait to welcome you to the Roosevelt community!

Please make sure you've already attended Starting Out At Roosevelt (SOAR) and registered for classes prior to attending New Student Orientation!
