Special Events

The Center is pleased to announce the following events:

The 19th Annual Program in Honor of Franklin & Eleanor Roosevelt - Wednesday, October 24, 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Congress Lounge, 2nd Floor

Join us for a conversation with Roosevelt Institute Senior Fellow Jeff Madrick on "Rediscovering Government."
Madrick will speak and lead a discussion on the history and future role of government in our society, stressing the "ways in which government has fueled innovation, supported social justice, and improved quality of life in America."  The aim is "to develop a new narrative to counter the anti-government language, attitudes, and policies that have dominated American politics for a generation."  This dynamic program asks audience members to reimagine--and rediscover--a working government for the 21st century.

Free and open to the public.  For more information, contact Margaret Rung at mrung@roosevelt.edu
