Degree and Credential Programs

The Mission of the Walter E. Heller College of Business is to provide a diverse population of students the best opportunity to develop critical skills necessary for success. This education emphasizes professional integrity, sustainable business practices, and global engagement.

Undergraduate Programs

At the undergraduate level, students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in one of six majors:

  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Human Resource Management
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Social Entrepreneurship

Graduate Programs

At the graduate level, the emphasis is on the integration of basic competencies with specialized education to create genuine expertise in one of the functional areas of business. The recurring themes of integrity and socially responsible business practices are interwoven into the curricula, thus reflecting the progressive principles exemplified in the lives of the university's namesakes, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt.

The Heller College of Business also provides our students with an environment focused on academic excellence, leadership and hands-on experience through internships with leading Chicago-area companies and instruction from our experienced faculty members.

For students with either a Bachelors degree or a Masters degree wanting to update their skills, we offer seven credential programs:

To accommodate our part-time students pursuing graduate degrees while employed full-time, the college offers a flexible course schedule. Evening classes are available at both Roosevelt campuses (Chicago and Schaumburg), as well as a convenient "Saturdays in Schaumburg" MBA program.

And here is some advice from Roosevelt University's Assistant Vice President of Graduate Admission in a special section of the Chicago Tribune: Opportunity Knocks: to figure out the best time to open the door for an advanced degree.
