|November 17, 2015, the Heller College of Business, the Accounting Club, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners co-sponsored a career and networking event with the goal to help our students to get internships, part time jobs and full time jobs.|
|November 15, 2015, the Heller College of Business recognized our outstanding students at the Delta Mu Delta Induction Ceremony.|
|April 22, 2015, the Heller College of Business recognized our outstanding students at the Delta Mu Delta induction ceremony and Achievement Awards ceremony. The ACBSP Undergraduate Leadership award was given to Florenzo Vero. And the ACBSP Graduate Leadership award was given to Jocelyn Boti.|
The Heller College of Business is excited to announce its partnership with the Community Based Business Initiative and the City of Chicago’s Neighborhood Business Development Center Program. The partnership is funded by a grant from the city of Chicago to increase the capacity of business incubators located in low to moderate income communities to provide services for start-up businesses of residents that will establish businesses within those communities. The goal of the initiative is to support entrepreneurs with access to resources, training, mentorship and networking opportunities that will support their businesses located within the North Lawndale, Greater Roseland, and Austin communities.

|The Heller College of Business hosted the Heller Signature Luncheon May 8, 2014 at the Palmer House in Chicago. Longtime Marketing Professor and Department Chairman Dr. Paul Wellen was recognized for his contributions to the college with a Lifetime Achievement Award. And featured keynote speaker Adam Braun shared his insights on “Blending Nonprofit Idealism with For-Profit Business Principles”. Braun, a former hedge fund manager, is the founder and CEO of a non-profit organization Pencils of Promise that builds schools and increases access to education for children in the developing world.
