The Walter E. Heller College of Business wants to enable you to find upcoming events and activities of interest to you as a prospective or current business student. In addition, we want to highlight some of the recently featured events for the college or the business community that may be of interest to you.

Organizations in the Business Community host events which may be of interest to our students, faculty and alumni:

  • Monitor the web for the latest News and Events from Google Alerts with a subject of "Roosevelt University".
  • The Illinois CPA Society hosts special events ranging from breakfast series to webinars to chapter meetings.
  • Visit for a list of upcoming events in the Real Estate business.
  • World Trade Center Illinois, whose mission is to effect a new type of economic development for the State of Illinois by assisting Illinois companies in engaging global markets will be hosting upcoming international trade events and webinars.
  • The New Leaders Development Series hosted by the Executive's Club of Chicago: Each program is preceded by informal networking and cocktail reception.
  • Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Chicago whose mission is to be the premier network in Northern Illinois for experts and decision-making professionals focused on strategies for increasing stakeholder value.
  • The Global Business Club of Mid-Michigan focuses on global issues of interest to the mid-Michigan business community. The monthly GB Club luncheons provide outstanding speakers and relaxed networking opportunities.
  • The International Trade Association of Greater Chicago ("ITA/GC") is a not-for-profit, voluntary business association dedicated to promoting international commerce in all its forms.
  • The Niagara Foundation with a mission to promote global fellowship hosts regularly scheduled and special events in the Chicago area.
  • CCIM commercial real estate network events in Illinois.
  • HACE, Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement.
  • Check the current Events Calendar at the Polish American Chamber of Commerce of Chicago.
  • Career Transitions Center of Chicago, CTC, offers events to support those seeking a job, looking for meaningful work, or otherwise going through a career transition. Check out upcoming events on their calendar. The Heller College of Business is a partner with CTC. These programs are available to our students and alumni.

November 17, 2015 Career Fair
November 17, 2015, the Heller College of Business, the Accounting Club, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners co-sponsored a career and networking event with the goal to help our students to get internships, part time jobs and full time jobs.
Delta Mu Delta Fall 2015 Induction Ceremony
November 15, 2015, the Heller College of Business recognized our outstanding students at the Delta Mu Delta Induction Ceremony.
Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society Induction Ceremony Spring 2015 April 22, 2015, the Heller College of Business recognized our outstanding students at the Delta Mu Delta induction ceremony and Achievement Awards ceremony. The ACBSP Undergraduate Leadership award was given to Florenzo Vero. And the ACBSP Graduate Leadership award was given to Jocelyn Boti.

The Heller College of Business is excited to announce its partnership with the Community Based Business Initiative and the City of Chicago’s Neighborhood Business Development Center Program. The partnership is funded by a grant from the city of Chicago to increase the capacity of business incubators located in low to moderate income communities to provide services for start-up businesses of residents that will establish businesses within those communities. The goal of the initiative is to support entrepreneurs with access to resources, training, mentorship and networking opportunities that will support their businesses located within the North Lawndale, Greater Roseland, and Austin communities.

 Heller Signature Luncheon The Heller College of Business hosted the Heller Signature Luncheon May 8, 2014 at the Palmer House in Chicago. Longtime Marketing Professor and Department Chairman Dr. Paul Wellen was recognized for his contributions to the college with a Lifetime Achievement Award. And featured keynote speaker Adam Braun shared his insights on “Blending Nonprofit Idealism with For-Profit Business Principles”. Braun, a former hedge fund manager, is the founder and CEO of a non-profit organization Pencils of Promise that builds schools and increases access to education for children in the developing world.
