Undergraduate Admission Requirements

With over 70 majors offered, there is something for everyone. Areas of study include arts and sciences, business, education, performing arts, professional studies.

Undergraduate programs are designed with three unique student populations in mind: freshmen, transfer, and adult. Undergraduate students are seeking a bachelor’s degree.

  • Freshman – an individual currently attending or who has completed a high school degree or its equivalent. These individuals may have completed fewer than 15 transferrable college credit hours.
  • Transfer – an individual who has completed a high school degree or its equivalent and has completed 15 or more transferrable college credit hours.
  • Adult – an individual who is pursuing one of Roosevelt’s adult focused bachelor’s degree programs within the College of Professional Studies. These programs are intended for individuals 24 years of age and older.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements vary by student type. In order to be considered for admission into one Roosevelt’s undergraduate programs,  complete the steps associated with your student type:


FRESHMAN

  • STEP 1 : Complete the online application
  • STEP 2 :  Submit official transcripts from all previously attended academic institutions (high school, GED, community college, college, or university). These documents must be submitted via mail or electronically directly from the issuing institution. Please see submission instructions below.
  • STEP 3 : Submit official ACT or SAT scores. The respective testing codes are as follows:
    • ACT school code: 1124
    • SAT school code: 1666

Though not initially required, a personal statement, essay, or letters of recommendation may be requested after initial review of your application.


TRANSFER

  • STEP 1 : Complete the online application
  • STEP 2 : Submit official transcripts from all previously attended academic institutions (high school, GED, community college, college, or university). These documents must be submitted via mail or electronically directly from the issuing institution. Please see submission instructions below.

Though not initially required, a personal statement, essay, or letters of recommendation may be requested after initial review of your application.


ADULT

  • STEP 1 : Complete the online application
