Roosevelt University adult students are undergraduates who are 24 years of age or older. The Evelyn T. Stone College of Professional Studies offers innovative fast-track bachelor degrees for adult students. Adult students can also pursue a traditional bachelor's degree across the university's undergraduate majors.
Roosevelt has a long-standing commitment to educating adult students. Forty-two percent of the university's undergraduate students are 24 or older.
Before applying to Roosevelt University, you will first need to determine if you will be an adult transfer or adult freshman:
If you have earned 15 or more transferable semester hours of college credit at a regionally accredited institution, please refer to Roosevelt's transfer requirements.
Roosevelt University has a generous transfer credit policy. The university requires transcripts from all institutions attended regardless of when the credit/courses were completed. All admitted transfer students have a full credit evaluation completed by credit evaluator to determine maximum number of credits accepted. Copies of the evaluation are provided to the student and placed in the student’s permanent academic record. Read more about transfer credits and requirements.
If you have earned less than 15 transferable semester hours of college credit at a regionally accredited institution, you will need to submit your high school transcript or GED. Submit official college transcripts in order to have those credits evaluated for Roosevelt University credit.
If you have no college credit, then you will need to submit a high school transcript or GED.
Complete Roosevelt's online admission application. The application fee is $25.
Submit all official transcripts/GED results to:
Roosevelt University Office of Admission 1400 N. Roosevelt Blvd. Schaumburg, IL 60173
A transcript is considered “official” when it is embossed with the institutional seal and delivered in a sealed envelope on institutional stationery.
