The Joffrey Ballet Presents Othello in the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University

This is the Joffrey’s premiere of Lar Lubovitch’s full-length, three-act ballet. Chicago-born Lubovitch brings his rhapsodic interpretation of Shakespeare’s classic tale of passion, jealousy, ambition and betrayal. Lubovitch’s compelling synthesis of classical and modern movement is heightened by a powerful score by Academy Award winner Elliot Goldenthal.  To purchase tickets to either show, call the Auditorium Theatre box office at 800-982-ARTS (2787). Be sure to use the code PARENT when purchasing your tickets as you may be eligible to receive a 10% discount off your ticket based on seating locations.

7:30 p.m.

Comedy Sportz Improv Show

Join SPEED Chicago, the student program board, for an evening of laughter.  Comedy Sportz is a show you won’t want to miss and audience participation is guaranteed.  The show is free and brought to you by the SPEED Board as a thank you to RU parents.

Students are welcome to participate in Parent Day events, but information presented in the interest sessions will be focused on parents and primary support providers.
